The British Fops, Lucien Callow and Fagan

Last night, I was sitting with my roomie (whom I grew up with) and we were discussing old SNL skits. After a bit of nostalgia, we remembered that there were two characters we absolutely adored - The British Fops, Lucien Callow and Fagan. After much, much searching, I finally found an old clip of them to enjoy. It was a sort of hunting, hunting for a much loved skit. These guy are my absolute favorite! They made me laugh countless times, and although the skits didn't last very long (there were less than 10 of these reassurances, I believe, they were much enjoyed by me and I hope you find it as funny as we did.

T-Distribution...wha'?

In honor of my Math Geek bf who passed his Actuarial Exam today (yay to him!), I decided to hunt down something math related on Etsy. I found something that was rather cute, though I don' t remember learning about it in school (me being an English major tries to ignore math formulas like the swine flu). I present to you the T-Distribution plushie : According to the seller's description: "The normal distribution comes in really handy when computing confidence intervals and performing hypothesis test, when you have a large enough sample. But when your sample is too small, you'll get better results by using the t-distribution. " Right. Because I understood that. Regardless, the plushie is cute and comes with it's very own formula in the back: Yup, makes total sense to me. Anyhow, if you have a math geek in your life, you can get this for him/her for a total of $8.00. That's quite a bargain, if you're willing to take an hour long explanation after givi...

Hunting for a way to be a Cullen.

Normally, I wouldn't do two posts in a day (let alone a week!), but this amused me so much that I couldn't help myself. Someone on Etsy is offering to " Cullenize " everyone for a mere fee of $8.00, which really isn't bad for a graphic design job. What this photo shows is Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in "Twilight". The right side is her normal face, the left side shows what the designer has done to manipulate her features to make her look like a vamp. Now I'm not sure if I would pay to have someone do this for me, but I'm also not a Twihard.
